By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, provide you with additional notice (e.g., an in-app alert or email). We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Information You Provide to Us:
- Habit Data: When you use the App, we collect information about the habits you create, track, and complete, including habit names, categories, completion status, and timestamps.
- Account Information: If you create an account, we may collect your username, email address, and password.
- Communications: If you contact our support team or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide in that communication.
Information We Collect Automatically:
- Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Services, including the device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: We may automatically collect information regarding your use of the Services, such as features accessed, habit completion patterns, app performance metrics, error logs, and interaction data.
- Analytics: We may use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic, usage trends, and performance. These tools collect information sent by your device or the Services, such as the pages you visit and other information that assists us in improving the Services.
2. USE OF INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide habit tracking functionality and maintain accurate records of your progress.
- Generate statistics, heat maps, and insights about your habit completion patterns.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services and personalize the user experience.
- Respond to your inquiries, provide support, and send important updates about the App.
- Analyze app performance, monitor usage trends, and improve our understanding of user preferences.

4. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
Baseline primarily stores your habit tracking data locally on your device using Core Data. This means your personal habit information remains on your device and is not routinely transmitted to our servers. However, certain features of the App may require data transmission for functionality, such as analytics and error reporting.
5. SECURITY
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@baselinehabits.app so we can remove the information.
7. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
The habits, categories, and other content you create within the App are considered user-generated content. While this information is primarily stored locally on your device, please be mindful when creating custom habit names or categories that may contain personal information.
8. YOUR CHOICES
App Data:
You can delete individual habits, categories, or all app data through the App's settings. Local data can be removed by uninstalling the App.
Push Notifications:
You can manage or opt out of habit reminders and other notifications by adjusting the permissions in your device settings.
Analytics and Usage Data:
You can opt out of certain analytics tracking by contacting support or adjusting settings within the App (where available).
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We may process your personal information outside of your home country. Data protection laws vary among jurisdictions. If we transfer your information to another country, we will ensure the transfer is lawful and that adequate security measures are in place to protect your information.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Your habit tracking data remains on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the App.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YMMV LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, personal injury, or property damage related to or in connection with your use of the App and its content. Your use of the App and the Services is solely at your own risk.
